I started my vacation yesterday, so I drove out to my beach house and rode around for a few hours. I stopped at the public beach to get a drink and when I came back, I looked at my vespa and thought it would make a good picture sitting there in the sand. I only had my cell phone, so please forgive the quality.

All the essentials in here. Golf shoes and Cuban cigars.

After a long ride, I like coming home, sitting on the back deck and having a cigar and a scotch.

The pics were taken in the Hamptons. The pics of the scooter were taken at Atlantic Avenue Beach in Amagansett. The pic of my feet was taken at my house.

Sweet!!! Go up into Sag Harbor and take the Vespa across the ferry to Shelter Island. I've been dying to ride around on the island for a while. It's not that big so you won't spend a lot of time. Round trip on the south ferry will also be cheaper. When your in Sag Harbor stop at Vincenzo's Pizzeria for a slice of their pesto pizza. Tell the owner, Dan, the the "scooter guys" recommended his place. That south fork has some great little hidden jems of roads. Send Silvio a pm and I bet he can send you a few addresses of some of the "rich and famous" out that way.

Long Island = Nassau, Suffolk Counties, Brooklyn, and Queens! Think about it!

Hi. Thanks. I have had a house out here for 10 years, so I have done the Shelter Island ride more than a few times. It is some great riding out there. Never tried Vincenzo's though. I'll get a slice of pesto this week!
